متن کاملDSHARP—a wide-screen multi-projector display
This paper describes a projection system using DLP projectors and parabolic mirrors to provide a 90◦ curved screen with a 4-to-1 aspect ratio. This display is intended to provide an ‘immersive’ experience for the user and facilitate a very large canvas on which to utilize multiple applications or single ones requiring a large screen. The resulting display has a 3072 × 768 pixel display area.
متن کاملA time sequential multi - projector autostereoscopic display
We describe a new 28 view, 25 inch, autostereoscopic display which combines both time sequential and multi-projector technology. It is constructed from four time sequential subsystems, which abut behind a single ferroelectric liquid crystal shutter. The display has a resolution of 512×384 pixels in 24-bit colour. It allows multiple viewers to simultaneously view stereoscopic images without the ...
متن کاملWEBSLIDE: A “Virtual” Slide Projector Based on World Wide Web1
We present here the design key concepts of WEBSLIDE, a software project whose objective is to provide a simple, cheap and efficient solution for showing slides during lessons in computer labs. In fact, WEBSLIDE allows the video monitors of several client machines (the “STUDENTS”) to be synchronously updated by the actions of a particular client machine, called the “INSTRUCTOR.” The system is ba...
متن کاملThe Color Calibration across Multi-Projector Display
Large plane displays are often achieved by combining tiled imaging elements, which give the appearance of a single, seamless display. However, this is difficult to realize in practical use, since differences in color will make the tiles distinct even if the geometric calibration is perfect. The paper presents an approach of color calibration using cubic Bspline. According to the theory of cubic...
